It’s happening. I’m already seeing Fall and Winter Holiday decor hit the shelves. So now is a great time to get a jump on what your packaging is going to look like this holiday season.

pink, blue, pastel, green fairy tale style of christmas imagery. Very feminine, fluffy, frothy, light and dreamy.

Think dreamy pastels, gingerbread, sweets and vintage touches.

Mendl’s Christmas

There’s an element of playfulness in one of this year’s biggest Christmas trends. If you’re a Wes Anderson fan (like this girl right here) then you totally get the Mendl’s reference. In a word: twee. If you’re a fan of pastels, then you’ll be all over this trend. And if you’re looking for packaging, you can translate this trend into packaging, too! Check out some of our examples below that you can customize for your holiday gift card packaging needs.

Deep Tartan Plaid, gold accents, velvety ornaments and poinsettias, red festive cocktails, and luxe table scapes

We’re going for luxe, here. Deep jewel tones like crimson and emerald, gold accents, and velvety textures.

Luxe Traditional Maximalist

When it comes to this trend, more is more. You want texture, luxe touches, and deep jewel tones. And if you want that in your packaging, it’s totally doable! You’re going to want some soft touch paper, foil stamps, and some pretty bows to cap it all off. Check out some fabulous examples below!

Christmas imagery with sage, craft, holly, greenery, and natural touches

Doesn’t this look cozy? This is all about natural vibes. Sage, natural fibers, greenery, and lots of softness.

Naturally cozy

This is the best time of year to go all in on coziness. Soft colors, natural textures and materials, lots of sage green. Sometimes, simple is best. That’s what this trend is all about. Check out some packaging ideas that perfectly fit this aesthetic.
